The United States Department of Justice started browsing through Yahoo's directory looking for erotic photography this month. Ah yes, this is where my tax dollars are going. We re-elected President Bush on the platform that his administration will keep us safe from terrorists. Yet, he is diverting people and resources away from terrorism to concentrate on protecting the Internet from a proliferation of pornography.
I guess the DOJ is still waiting to hear back from the FBI about that "task force" you requested. No takers yet? Yup, surfing for porn is a dirty job, but someone has to do it. Looks like you've taken on the job yourselves, after reviewing my web logs. Hey - the juicy stuff is in the Erotic Section. You didn't even take a peek.
Our overseas friends must get a real kick out of this. Which is more important to our government? Stabilizing the world economy by protecting free trade and eliminating terrorist organizations? Or, cracking down on people who take dirty pictures? Why, eliminating all dirty pictures on the Internet, of course! The Fed's have been trying to do this for years. If they could somehow link pornography to terrorism, they might just have a case.
What we need to do is upgrade some of the computer equipment at the DOJ. Youse guys are still running 800x600x64k computer monitors? No wonder why you're cranky. Why not put in a requisition for a nice NEC LCD? The photography looks much better on a good monitor. And, stop surfing for pornography during working hours, ok guys?
