Do you see fuzzy photographs on this website? Over-exposed? Under-exposed? Poor contrast? The problem may only be a few clicks away.
Do you have AOL as your internet service? If so, you are being scammed. The default video setting for AOL is to display photographs as heavily compressed e.g. fuzzy with poor resolution. AOL's default settings are customized for viewing marketing and advertising banners, not fine-art photographs.
Fortunately, you can change AOL's browser settings. Click on "My AOL" -> Preferences -> WWW Preferences -> Uncompressed Graphics.
How about your monitor? For advanced as computer technology has become, and despite video cards boasting the capability to view millions of colors, black and white photos are still shown in a mere 256 shades of grey - sometimes less! Try setting your video card to "full" color or 32-bit color. Then, look at the following test pattern:
Every shade of grey should appear distinct and not fade out or show a color shift. Adjust your monitor until you can view all the bars clearly.
